To participate in this little contest, all you need to do is share the racing horse you're most proud of this year! You should include a link to their page (<*a href="URL">Name<*/a> without the *s or just click the horse ID button) and a paragraph description of why they're a favorite. Horses must have actively raced so far this year (at least 5 starts if 4yo+, 4 starts if 3yo, and 2 starts if 2yo) to be eligible. Then, visit the barn of the person who posted above you and pick out one of their racers you admire. Be sure to include a link as well as a description of what makes this superstar stand out in a crowd. Again, the horse must have actively raced this year to be eligible. Be sure to use line breaks in your post with <*br /> (without the *) so that it doesn't all run together. Everyone who follows all directions will earn a ticket into the anniversary raffle. You may only enter once! | |

The one I am most proud of this year so far is Smoke Bubbles. She was one of my first YA buys and I honestly had no expectations for her. I hoped she would be a good find but she has exceeded all my expectations. In her 2 year old season she was my first horse to win a GC for me and almost won a WCF. This year she came so close to winning her trinity crown. I am just beyond proud of her and looking forward to seeing how she will do this year in GCs and hopefully WCF. The one I admire the most from Zadie Creek Stables is Where's The Dun Gone. She proved to be a worthy adversary for my wonderful filly and it was always fun looking at the results when they faced off. She was a gritty runner and she ended up winning the last series race. I am sure the two of them will face off again next month. Did I mention she is also beautiful to look at? |

The horse I'm most proud of this year is this boy Even The Onyx. I'm just now figuring out racing after over a year if playing this game. He's one of the first horses I've had that's actually getting points consistently and I'm proud of that. He is also out of one of my favorite owned studs and I'm exited on what he may bring to my stables in the future.
The horse I admire from Benden Weyr Racing is this boy Makin Rum A Standardbred colt who already has a pm at 3 years old. which I find very impressive, and he is pretty too. He also has a good Pr and I'm sure will just continue to excel in the future. |

I have a few I could have picked but I have to give a shout to my mare Battle Florist, who cruised through to her PM this year. She is out of one of my foundation HT mares by a 50pt stallion, but she maxed way over expectations, and just keeps on as an easy OTB finisher. She is my perpetual second-place girl, finishing on the board in almost all her Series races, but never quite getting the top spot.
I like this stallion Thee Red Hood frm Dark Night Stable; a classy Custom Goldblood with a really solid genetic foundation and a consistent racer, especially as he's starting to find his feet and bring home some more placings. He's a real gem! |

Picture Perfect Six Iam mostly proud of my P6 entrie this year, she is doing so well. She races like a Wild cat runs after its prey lol. Not to forget the is Black which i totally love. ATM she is Rankend 2nd in GB P6 & in Overall, but also 3rd in the Racing 2 year old GB Leaderboard. She sure is someone to look out for. My Pride and Joy thats for sure. ASHK Hellauva Archivist Such a Amazing Mare who already won Many Trophies, she defnetly is one to look out for on the track. 377 Points and she is 7 Year old, thats a outstanding achievment thats for sure. Thats a Horse i dream to have breed, and hopefully one day i get there. This Mare sure something Awesome! |

Infernal Devices
Infernal Devices is my first SS colt. He had a rocky start to his racing career, but this year he's really hit his stride. Although his PR isn't the highest of my horses, he is the horse I most look forward to seeing the race results for. He's my top point earner and I look forward to his retirement and first year standing at stud. TFE Treading the Dawn Not only is TFE Treading the Dawn gorgeous, he looks like he's been having a fantastic 2 yr old year! I can't wait to see how he turns out for you, and I'd definitely favoriting him to hopefully breed to in the future. |

The racer Im the most proud of is my 'Grimmy'!
The Grim Bride Although just a HT mare she has excelled and has taught me so much about prep and racing! I sadly will be retiring her in Jan yr53 but look forward to her foals carrying on in her memory!
One of Echos boys caught my attention right away! Infernal Devices What a looker with his great spotted coat pattern and a great racing career to boot! Already PM and still going! Looking forward to seeing his future foals hit the track and going to send a girl to him myself! |
Shadow (#727) North Swedish Ranch Posted On: 3/25/2023 12:35 PM |
Grey In A Lifetime has just been phenomenal to me. Just some lucky HT I picked up to get my racing string going again. His genetics were honestly much better than I expected, and I decided then that I would try to stud prospect him. Despite my struggle on getting points and quality racing, he just did his best and honestly he is my best horse in my barn. I’m hoping to get his PM by January and see how he is as a father! He has just helped me regain confidence in how I race and to learn the new system <3
Prince Rory originally drew me in with his name. Very regal and official, and it matches how he looks! Professional and, like any good royal, dressed in royal purple haha. Though his racing has been amazing, even if he has been taking his time on points. I enjoy seeing his improvement from last year into this year and that is something that makes me enjoy a horse more: self improvement! Can’t wait for him to earn his points galore! |
Fifth (#427) The Fifth Estate Stables Posted On: 3/25/2023 01:02 PM |
How do I choose? Well it was between my beautifully bred Peerless morpho girl and Towering, and I have to give the spotlight to Towering because year after year, she excels at what she does. Once she transitioned from the flat to jumps, she turned into an absolute rockstar. She won one of the very last GCs and WVCFs for Goldbloods and has been dominating the Festa de Flores series since Y50. In fact, she's been undefeated over jumps since Y48, and still has plenty of races left in her so we're on this ride until she's ready to retire.
What a beautiful mare Graced In Shadows is! She's still maxing her stats and has so much room to keep getting better. She's already a star in color shows. She could have it all! And maybe I can see her come visit my boys when her racing career is over ;) |
Light Shock (#2785) Lightning V Estate Posted On: 3/25/2023 01:48 PM |
This is a difficult choice to make because I have a handful of absolute super stars, who consistently perform well (and also surprise me with said consistency). However, the spotlight has to go to someone I don’t talk much about (at least directly) which is Glory Found Hare. He’s the son of two SS obviously, one of which is my beloved Bugs and the other is Knowing Glory As I Am (who’s produced several nice foals so far, despite being so rude to me about color). He is Bugs’s third peerless, and he has won three ISHCs (and will hopefully get a fourth this year). Next year he’ll be pointed towards ES provided I can remember, and he’s also one of my two current candidates for a CoS run. His half brother from Bugs is a gelding I talk about often who managed to make CoS, so I have every confidence he’ll be able to as well if I don’t make a mistake with his management. Of Fifth’s large barn, I have to admire The Stars. He did quite well in the Festa De Flores this year, and successfully earned his PM too! He’s a gorgeous colt and one of my favorite colors on the game is classic! His pedigree is almost completely filled with superior broodmare/stallion awards, and that’s always such a fun sight to see. I also have to say that his dam is extremely gorgeous. I wouldn’t blame Fifth for keeping him racing to try to help his sire earn superior as well, but I’ll definitely try to keep an eye on him for when he retires. With any luck, I’ll be able to find a mare to send his way. |
Totsy (#9588) Twin Oaks Ranch Posted On: 3/25/2023 02:41 PM |
Totz Graystar An absolute no brainer for me this year! Hands down my favorite horse since he is the first of my horses to make the Leaderboard as a 2 yr old. Maybe even the very first from my stable of any age. He is not the only one from Twin Oaks, but definitely the one highest on the board! Came as a complete surprise, which was even nicer. Faking All My Smiles Again, Lightning V Estate is above me and this is a nice racer. Like mine, not bred but bought still on the Leaderboard and a horse to be proud of. 22 pts and climbing for Y52 is a nice achievement by anyones standards. I apologize if this is too late to actually be "the person above me" too. |
Lady Revna (#2458) Darkside Racing Posted On: 3/25/2023 02:50 PM |
RAGN Darth Hadra Since the changes in points and PRs went into place, I haven't had the best of luck getting points or higher PRs on the majority of my horses for the last couple in game years. I have since figured out some things, and this year did things differently and I was able to throw some horses in Series races and have them be somewhat competitive, and this mare above was one of them. She may not have won anything, but she ran some higher PRs for my stable and I was so happy to see that. She also gained almost 40 points for the racing year and earned her PM this season. Definitely something to be proud of in my opinion! LVE Caramel Bunny Holy cow this gelding is a MONSTER. Look at that Trophy Shelf!!! AND he's a Court of Stars earner! What is there NOT to be proud of with this guy?! His achievements caused his sire and dam to earn their Superior awards, which these days is not too easy to achieve anymore! It's too bad he's a gelding-I would have loved to have a foal sired by him. But he will guide the next generation to greatness after he retires, I'm sure! Well done Light Shock in racing him in his long career of success! |
Cloud (#8567) Cloud Gate Racing Posted On: 3/25/2023 03:50 PM |
This is an easy choice for me this time. A singular horse stood out for who I am most proud of this year. It has to be Maisie Mae . Several in game years ago when I was still quite new to everything and I was looking for inexpensive horses to buy from the sales arena to bulk out my barnsI came across Maisie Mae. She was a 3 year old HT Thoroughbred mare who was overall pretty unremarkable. I did however, like her genetics and figured even if she was a poor racer, she had nice enough genes for a HT and I could retire her for a broodmare in a year or so. I did not expect anything from her. I have never been proven more wrong by a horse on FFH in my life haha. She has had a huge 43 starts in her time and won 22 of them, 16 of them at G1 level. This year she had her greatest achievement, winning the Y52 Diamante Stakes series race, earning her (and me) our first ever trophy and series win. I am incredibly proud of this. She is on track to achieve a PD this year to go with her PM. This was her finest year. All from a $10k HT mare who went on to become a champion.
The horse I admired most from Ragnarok Ranch would have to be this absolute stunner of a mare Gravewalker . Not only is she stunning to look at but she has really made her mark on the track this year, earning 33 points from her racing just this year so far. She is well on track to earning her PM. She has been running very solid PR’s that have shown consistent improvement and she has competed strongly in several series races this year. She is also a real iron horse, racing every month, sometimes in both meets with great recovery afterward! She is an excellent example of her STB breed and is absolutely one to watch for the future. She is sure to be a fabulous foundation for her stable and hopefully will continue to excel on track. |
Bedda (#4156) Tango Racing Posted On: 3/25/2023 04:46 PM |
Til Death This guy has been my absolute pride and joy over the past couple of years! His next start should earn him his PD, and I have absolutely LOVED seeing that green up arrow showing that he's performing at G1 levels as a G2 potential horse. He's been the one who I'm always first to check on after rollover, and I just have so much attachment to him already (as I'm sure anybody I regularly talk to on discord could tell you lmao)
Looking at Cloud Gate Racing, I'd have to say Field Ofdreams. The first thing that drew me to her was her name, because we are a big baseball household here! And then looking at her closer and seeing her 12th place finish in a series with a 123 PR with tack notes as a 3 year old on top of already having Handily notes at g3 leads me to believe she will be a great runner for her career! |
Alden (#7617) Acernus Acres Posted On: 3/25/2023 04:54 PM |
The racer that I am without a doubt most proud of is my HT filly Spaghetti Caves. I'm still learning how racing works in the game (which shows if you look at my horses results) but even with that, Spaghetti managed to break her maiden on her first run even while incurring a tack note, becoming the first of my horses to win against competition. In her second race she didn't fair quite as well, coming back injured as well as with another tack note, but even then she managed not to come last. For a 12 potential two year old, managing not to come in last in a GI race, expressly while injured, is much more then I expected! While her winnings are only a modest $34,200 compared to some of the other horses here, I'm proud of every penny.
Looking at Tango Racing's string, the horse that quickly drew my eye is Running Slowly who at three is already a futurity trophy winner, over 80 points towards his PM, and running an average 166 PR. Not bad for only 12 starts under his belt! Over 1 million in earnings already isn't bad either, it looks like he's already a machine on the track and he seems to only be getting better! |
Roanqueen (#10175) Roan Hill Farm Posted On: 3/25/2023 05:49 PM |
This was easy for me, its gotta be OM Chilly Roo . Shes doesn't have a fancy color,or good genes, there's no diamonds in her pedigree but boy does she have heart. She was a 10k sales arena horse with high risk and already 5. Despite me having no idea and mismanaging her she somehow pulled 58 pts and is running solid G2s as an allowance horse with no distance and only some surface. Not to mention in 30 starts shes only been off the board twice. If I had my pick of Acernus Acres I would pick Domesticate . Hes grabbed himself some points and apples but has whole lot of potential in him. Looks like he's starting to get his feet under him. So hopefully he'll be running up to his potential soon. |
Hellhound (#7983) Castrum Animarum Posted On: 3/25/2023 06:29 PM |
There has definitely been a favourite in my barn this year: Blissful Days. He has been fantastic for me this year, with 80 points for his 3yo season and sitting 2nd on the leaderboard for the 3yo GBs. He's been so much fun to run and I can't wait to see how far he goes if I choose to run him for a 4yo season.
Having a look at Roan Hill Farm, there was definitely one boy who caught my eye. I love seeing everyone's P6 contestants, and Six Minute War is not disappointing! He's picked up a fair amount of points (and let's not forget that he is a stunner). He's hitting some nice PRs as well, and I'm sure he'll continue to rise as he heads into his 3yo season. |
A. (#1380) Phoenix Rising Stables Posted On: 3/25/2023 07:16 PM |
Probably my favorite 2yo to race this year has been BURN Dance Dance Resolution. She's currently 23 potential, with the chance of only two stats unmaxing in January...but potential isn't everything. With 8 starts this year, she's earned an effortless 58 points this far, and won her MSR race by 38 1/2 lengths (with a PR of 120!). In fact, she's won EVERY time she's stepped foot on the track so far. I can't wait to see how she does in December! In Hell's Gates barns, I found PPF Moonfruit, a 4yo GB colt who's well on his way to PM, with 68 total points, 48 of which were earned this year! With a high PR of 203, which he ran in this year's Gulpiyiri Handicap, this fellow is going places for sure! |
Arthenia (#602) Two Doves Creek Posted On: 3/25/2023 08:11 PM |
My favorite racer this year is easily Battle Tapes. She's been phenomenal this year and I'm trying to get her all the way to the Court of Stars! So far this year she's received 95 points, bringing her to a grand total of 239. She has insane rest genes. having raced at least once every single month this year. She's 8 for 10 this year, with only one finish off the board. Can't wait to see her run in the International Championships!
In Pheonix Rising's stable I found the amazing Crisis Flew By. This gelding has been smoking up the track, running a 204 in his last start! He's 6 for 8 and hasn't finished off the board. He won the European Midsummer Quarter Horse Maturity over a strong field and I'm betting on a strong run in the International Championships! |
Melorama (#3733) Royal Import Preserve Posted On: 3/25/2023 08:56 PM |
I'm most proud of my P6 contest entrant Six Of Hearts! This is my first time participating in this contest, and I only just returned to the game in December of year 51 so I was still re-learning how to play the game when the contest started. Had a bit of a hiccup with an injury so she missed out on two races, but I've managed to get her to 29 points in only 6 starts and I'm so proud of how she's running! She managed a 4th place in the year 52 Midsummer Revelry (1st out of all the entered P6's), and I'm very excited to see how she does in the year 51 International Quarter Horse Championship. Fingers crossed I can get her to PM by the end of her 3yo racing year! Looking through Two Doves Creek's stable, Kitsune Time is definitely a stand-out to me. As a homebred peerless Quarter Horse he has earned 28 points in only six starts, coming first in one race and second in all but one of the remaining five races. Despite the late start to his racing career, this potential stud has been improving with each race, and even managing a 146 PR in his most recent race. He definitely has a good chance at placing well in the Elemental Seniority series race from year 53 onwards! |
Rharfo (#8266) Kauri Hills New Zealand Posted On: 3/25/2023 10:05 PM |
The horse from my humble barns that has brought me the most excitement this year is Waiting For Wheels This 6yo HT horse is showing how transitioning can turn a runner's career around. Although his driving races have been rather light in competition, he has won 8 of 9 starts since the transition, 5 at GI level. Will probably be gelded before retiring as his genetics are not that flash, but will hopefully make PM before that decision times comes around. Hoping he continues to churn out the victories under my care and become a handy buddy for my stables after his racing days are behind him. Visited Melorama's Silver Haven Stable and came across a HT 6yo Quarter Horse by the name of Just Euphoric. He is lightly raced but is now hitting his straps and showing his real potential boasting a lifetime high PR of 162 just 2 starts back in a stellar event, The European Midsummer Quarter Horse Maturity GI. Backed that effort up with a victory at GIII and will likely be racing in higher grades in the foreseeable future after that solid effort. The handsome bay will likely make PM and be a very breedable proposition after his racing days are over but still has a lot more wins to come before thoughts of retirement come around. |
nartaylor (#6748) Next Awesome Racing Thoroughbreds Posted On: 3/25/2023 10:27 PM |
While I am excited about the potential of quite a few of my two-year old crop this year, the clear standout has got to be Motive. She's five for five so far in her career with 50 points and a series race win in the Amber Wobble. However, I am also proud because her sire is the first horse I was able to race then stand at stud Killed By Words and her dam is my first ever SS horse who I won in a Yearling Raffle Nearly A Rational Thought. I'm thinking it will be worth it to try for a full sibling this year before her dad is (likely) out of slots. Kauri Hills has a nice group of older racers with big points, but I think the star for me is Our Sweet Romance. Peerless, over $5 million in earnings, 315 points, and has run a 220 PR, wow. Next race out he'll be looking for his 30th career win which is amazing! He's also got the brains so that when he retires, Mirror buddy is a possible second career, continuing as an invaluable asset for Kauri Hills' next generation. |
Firestorm (#2063) Bayou Moon Stables Posted On: 3/25/2023 10:29 PM |
Although he’s lost a step or two this year, Goofer Dust is still making me proud. He may have only finished 2nd, 2nd, and 4th in the turf Crusaders Challenge this year, but he’s still knocking it out points wise. He will make Court of Stars this year. He’ll be my second CoS - my first stud to do so. He’s just been a favorite of mine his entire racing career!
Oops - had to edit because someone posted before I was finished so I had to find pony in nartaylor’s barn! I’m going to choose Prairie Normal who won a trinity race. She’s a lovely turf ga. She’s nearly made her PM in just 10 races! If only she hadn’t decided she needed equipment changes in that first trinity race, she might have won it too! I hope she has a great career on the track and again in the brood barn. I want to leave in the horse I chose from Rharfo’s barn because I absolutely love her too. |
StarSynne (#2022) Southern Star Station Posted On: 3/25/2023 11:06 PM |
One of the surprises in my barn this year has been Starbright Sparkle While originally I was only impressed by her admittedly pretty colour combination, despite my not quite so great attempts at consistently racing her she's done great! Picking up a bunch of points in marathon races she's well on her way to making PM, which is quite the achievement for me! I admire anyone who is going well with the P6 challenge, so I picked Perfect Number from firestorms barn! She's a cute little chestnut filly who's really earning her stripes with that 2nd place (and 14 points!) in her recent series entry and those PRs are just getting better and better! With plenty of races to go I think this girl is already pretty perfect :) |
Ashy (#2058) S Bar Racing Stables Posted On: 3/25/2023 11:40 PM |
I have a particularly large stable but my favorite at the moment is Glory Of Heaven. While only four starts under his belt; I feel like he is a horse for the future. He's surprised me though and won his last race; here's hoping he keeps that trend going! He's also very pretty to look at; and I don't really know why he's my favorite. He just sticks out to me; that and no one in my barn has really stood out to me this year.
I really like Starsynne's PWR Quinntessential who while hasn't quite racked up the points; has managed to hit the board in five of her six starts. I think she is definitely a horse for the future; I look forward to watching her develop! She's also very pretty! |
Taimie (#2870) White Night Acres Posted On: 3/26/2023 01:38 PM |
My favorite racer this year is definitely Babe I'm Magic. His last racing season is spectacular, and though he is getting a bit old, he still rocks the marathon races! This year he got two wins in Crusader's Challenge and a place in Court of Stars! He won 77 points this year, with GC and WCF still ahead, so I have high hopes for him, he needs to add more trophies to his shelf. It was a really hard choise, but I think that Pass The Cat really stands out in Ashy's barn. She has color, she has great pedigree with two Platinum SIPs and she is a peerless GD! And she really lives up to expectations, racking 40 points this year alone! That's very impressive! And she will shine in a breeding shed too, mares like this are a joy to breed. |
Dyana (#4623) Lonlon Farm Posted On: 3/26/2023 04:04 PM |
I run a pretty large stable, but still this was an easy choice for me. My favorite racer this year is Intoxicating, a homebred peerless palomino quarter horse stallion who has been winning all his races this year. I think he is definitely benefitting from the gilt hooves he received from the Y50 celebration riddles - he is just not losing energy from racing so I can easily enter him every meet, and he usually comes home with 9 or 10 points. On top of his racing success, he also has a very solid pedigree.
One horse that caught my eye in Taimie's barn is peerless Flame Burst. He boasts an incredible average PR of 205, and his high score stands at 220! Unsurprisingly, he has earned a ton of money and racing points this game year (86 at the moment) and won a highly competitive goldblood series race (+ placed 2nd in two others). He also has a lovely color (roan with sooty!) and a fantastic pedigree - his sire is platinum with > 50 AFP. I'm sure this horse can easily reach PD if he wants. |
BTRush (#9073) Rusher Stables Posted On: 3/26/2023 06:33 PM |
Not Giving You Up is easily my favourite horse ever and I'm fortunate to still be campaigning him! He was my first import, my first horse to get 50pts, and hopefully my first stud; so there's plenty to be excited about with him! He's got few races left, longevity-wise, but I'm hoping the remaining ones will be enough to get him a PM. Caelus is a very interesting one from the barn above! Like my horse, he has few races left, but it might just be enough to achieve that racing merit we all crave! Additionally, this guy is incredibly talented and his physical appearance is to die for. Did I mention those killer genetics? Chef's kiss. Good luck to his owner! |
Orinetta (#8262) Mount Hope Huron Park Posted On: 3/26/2023 09:17 PM |
I am most proud of Cannot End this year! Going into Year 52, I had never won a series sweep. This little four-year-old gelding was transitioned to Goldblood Timber in January of this year, increasing from 6 to 50 potential. With only one Timber race under his belt, I decided to enter him in the European Festa de Flores. I couldn't believe when he won the first leg! I was shocked when he won the second. I was convinced FFH was playing a cruel trick on me when he won the third. He earned both PM and Steeplechase Minor this year, and with 131 points (82 steeplechase points), he's well on his way to PD and Steeplechase Major. Go goldie toes, go! At Rusher Stables, Record The Knight is very impressive 3 year-old QH gelding! He has raced 8 times so far this year, performing every month since February. Between February and MSRs in August, his PR has increased from 64 to 152 - over double. His strong MSR performance was significant enough to earn him second place and 14 points, and as of this writing he has earned 32 points this year. Great job! |
Ashley (#2714) Revolution Farms Posted On: 3/27/2023 10:55 AM |
This year, I am so proud of my homebred filly If You Want Dessert. I am really inconsistent with entering my 2yo/3yo into series races, but managed to do so for this girl! She performed very well her 2yo year, with 1st in every race except for series races. She placed 2nd in the Garnet Stakes last year, and 6th in her WCF Juvenile race, earning 11 points. She has placed 1st in all her races this year, and is entered into GCs this meet. She has earned over $1 million so far in her career!
While Cannot End is a great racer, Orinetta already highlighted him above! My other pick from their stables would be Royal Moon. Orinetta has piloted this guy through an incredible year of racing, with almost $1 million in earnings and over 60 point just this year. Last month, Royal Moon placed 1st in the Venturer's Voyage series race for September, with a PR of 219! It looks like he was purchased for a mere $50k as a yearling - what an incredible investment! He's on his way to a PD - I have faith that he will make it easily. Good luck to Orinetta on the rest of this gelding's career! |
Raz (#1016) Roaring Red Stables Posted On: 3/28/2023 12:21 PM |
My favorite pony this season is easily The Conception. This peerless with a GD was slow to get going with his low Peak, but oh my goodness did he make up for it after the points change. He got his PM with me after my FFH-break and this year reached PD, earning 89 points so far and winning the Shipwrights Stakes on the way. I am hoping for good performances in GC and WCF and who knows, I may just keep him around for another year to gauge how far I can take him. Ashley conveniently has a barn named 'Stars' and boy there are so many peerless in there, I think I lost count XD But the first that sprung out at me was VF Easter Pearls, because.. well, it's gonna be Easter soon and Pearls is all the rage on FFH right now, isn't it? So yes I had to investigate her and was not disappointed, did I mention peerless? Yes, she is one, not surprising seeing she goes back to a ton of SS horses including Platinum SS sires Cadbury Bunny and Blankety Blank! She's earned her PM this year, is entered in AGC and will hopefully close her year out with a great WCF effort too! |

From my barn I choose ASME Burning Good One of the first horses I bought at YA shortly after I joined the game. Not really knowing what to look for I consider myself so fortunate to have won her and am proud of how well she has done, in spite of the mistakes I have made with her. I'm grateful to those who offered advice and helped me train and prepare her when I was new and just 'trying things out'. She maxed so nicely (just missed out on being peerless) and has achieved some really nice placings. I am really hoping I can finish her PM: she may be the first of my owned horses to do this!
Raz has several quality ponies: I was spoilt for choice! However, I ended up highlighting ROAR Rage of the Ocean Absolutely love the name on this 2 y/old Midsummer QH winner. Whilst he may not max as high as some of Raz other horses this handsome chestnut gelding has had a glittering 2 y/old career, accruing an impressive 48 points and just under 1 million in prize money so far! With the way he has been racing and plenty of longevity left I'm sure he will accrue many more. |

Machine Gun Cat
I have a really difficult time picking favourites when I am proud and attached to my own herd of gorgeous racing horses. But I will make myself pick one that took me by surprise. One of my import STB colts, Machine Gun Cat. He is a gorgeous palomino boy who is proving he can look good in the colour shows but more importantly, the guy can run. He has collected so many points in such a short period of time and he is only three! His top PR was 177 which for me, is nothing to scoff at! It's so cool to see him run in the big boy G1 races and do well with them. I am really excited to see what he does in the future once he is finished maxing as well. Winged Legend There were a lot of great horses in Storm’s barn. I was so tempted to pick their palomino import boy because he looked so much like my horse in real life. But I decided to choose their gelding Winged Legend. I think he looks like such a sweet horse. But also he has some talent. He won his latest race at a G2 level and has won plenty of races prior! I feel like he will have no problem making PM with how he is going. I hope he does well in his upcoming G1 race! What a talented boy! |

LSR Hell Hath No Mark Man, this mare is an absolute power house! I put a lot of my runners under pretty strenuous racing this year to play catch up with my stable and this mare has taken everything in stride. Race once per meet? Nah, this girl can do both! She took a little to get out of the gate but once June hit she never looked back. Nine races this year with five wins, one second, and two thirds almost exclusively in Grade 1 company. Her record performance this year sits at 198 PR and she's banked 57 racing points this season alone. I hope I can get her into Decembers series races for stocks and let her fly! I would have to choose CF Tarik a jet black two year old colt that shows a lot of promise! He is sired by Gold+ Parker James so he should have talent in spades! He looks to be a sprout purchased by the stable last year and looks to be making strides in improving every race! Two year olds can be a bit finicky, but I have noticed this colt is always there, close to the top ranks in races of fields of 10 and 12. First few starts can always be rough, but I hope Panik submits this colt into a series race this December, he could very well be a dark horse and surprise the field! |

I will never shut up about my special lady, For Equality!! This girl has been racing since Y49 and continues to surprise me. She had a rocky 2YO campaign, bounced back heavily as a 3YO then flatlined a bit last game year. This year she has had a turn of hoof, winning 5 of her 8 GI races with a highest PR of 189! She has earned $714,150 this year alone and banked 64 points as she nears 200 points in her lifetime. This peerless mare continues to validate the soft spot I had in my heart that I had for her dam, Azequality, a homebred mare of mine. For Equality and her younger half sister, Equity, are both peerless mares out of the same mama. I don't think I've ever experienced that on FFH so it has been quite the ride! I am very proud of her and hope that she earns at least one more shiny trophy to add to her trophy shelf as she nears the end of her racing career.
Out of Dream's barn, I really like their 2YO Wished For War! This 2YO Thoroughbred colt is 2 for 2, running a 95 PR last outing which is incredible outside of a series race! This little powerhouse is by Dream's bronze SIP stud, Warhammer, and out of the mare Wishes For Kisses. The damn is a gem champion and by the influential stud I bred, Come Back Home! I love to see his legacy and impact on the Thoroughbreds on this game. This colt certainly has the potential and pedigree to keep burning up the track so good luck in GCs and WCFs this year with him! |

Oh, this is easy: I am most super proud of my amazing Peerless lady R Snow Dance. She has finished 1st or 2nd in every race this year, including winning 2/3 of her Seniority races (and the one she didn't win, she finished just a neck behind her stablemate!). She has earned 95 points so far this year alone and finished her Performance Distinction in September! Her Longevity isn't great so she will be retiring the end of this year, and I have to say I am super excited for her next adventure as a broodmare. I just love her sire and can't wait to see what this line produces next!
From MK's barn, I am liking the look of BATS Always Catty. She's been running very respectable PRs for a 2 y/o and is entered in a Gold Cup race. She has a nice looking pedigree and truly phenomenal perf and stat genes, so I hope she turns out to be a stellar racer and future broodmare for MK! |

This is hard! I recently retired maybe my favorite racer of all time, but second to him this guy is my current favorite. New Nostalgia is sired by one of my most favorite horses I have ever bred. Additionally, he is HOPEFULLY making it to CoS this year. We will see! He is practically a winning machine so my fingers are crossed. He is an incredible SC GB who has won so many series races for me! Fastion...I MEAN LOOK AT THIS GUY! This incredible dude from Renaissance has it all. A silver roan PEERLESS Paint stallion! Be still my heart. I immediately favorited him so I can make sure to send him a mare when he retires. 185 points in just 20 races is awesome, and he won a series race this year. What an awesome guy that has been managed very well by his owner! |

Ah see for me this year in my FFH barn, the Golden Horseshoe belongs to one particular mare who basically got thrown in the deep end from the beginning of the year!! Mythological Moose was transitioned early in January in the hopes that it would get her over the line with racing pts! Atleast enough to get her Performance Merit, so not only did she do that but she earned her Steeplechase Minor and also a clean sweep of the TT’s at only her 3rd, 4th and 5th start over the sticks!
Well onto her way, she’s been entered into her respective GC and *fingers crossed* WCF, I am actually unsure whether Steeplechase Major will be on the cards or possible retirement to the breeding barn! A lot may happen between now and the racing season of next year! Looking through Briana’s stables (which I could have done for a LONG time!!! Lol) I settled upon a lovely bred STB colt by the name of Mixed Blessings! This young colt has so so much going for him! He’s got colour, he’s got pedigree, he’s got genetics… he’s even got the 32 Race points that he’s earned in only 6 races!!! This spritely lad has a big future ahead of him and if he continues to burn up the track I’m sure Bri won’t have any problems filling his stud book with future mares! |

The hose I'm most proud of this year is Spicy Chicken Sandwich! He may not have won any major races or blown any minds with his PRs, but he has his PM, and he's actually been raced this year - which for me is quite the achievement. RL has worn on me and gotten me really behind on FFH, but I can still be proud of this boy being active, running, and still earning some points this year even with all I have going on! I'm excited for him to retire and hit the breeding shed too! Browsing through Leecee's barn, I've got to say my favorite horse is definitely Sweet Not Spicy. Look at that pedigree with that shiny platinum sire, firstly. And just check out his race history! 85 YEARLY POINTS!! That's a feat! Basically earning PM in 1 year, I bet this boy can power on to CoS if he has the longevity/soundness for it (or eats enough alfalfa lol). He's an impressive guy I wish I had seen as a yearling to snag a partnership with. He's definitely making some moolah! |
KeraRose (#10227) Blue Rose Racing Posted On: 3/29/2023 11:38 AM |
The horse I'm most proud of this year is hands-down Elven Lace. I got her when I was just starting to get into GBs, and she has blown me away. She won the Varied DD last year, has just earned her PM at 3 years old, and hopefully she'll take the Varied DD again this year before retiring. She's phenomenal and I am so proud of this little pixel pony.
I decided to go with Is It Funnier In Space from Maylutka's barn. I'm a big fan of GBs, and the name was just too good to pass up. She's also super pretty, and at one point shy from peerless, she should be back up in the G1s soon! |
Raienne (#8644) Greymoor Stables Posted On: 3/31/2023 03:00 AM |
I took a long break so none of my runners are currently superstars (apologies to anyone after me who has to select one!) but overall, I really love my boy OM Rainbow Hustle. He's a peerless who picked up a trophy for me and has earned over a million, one of my only. So glad to have been able to purchase and campaign him. I feel bad that he had such a break with me being gone but hopefully I'll get him back into shape for a few more wins before he retires.
In regards to KeraRose's string, one good gelding deserves another so I choose What'sinaname. Sure takes a lot of equipment to keep him going but boy does he go! Top 3 in all of his 15 starts and almost half a million in earnings (who knows how many apples!?) this guy certainly earns his keep. He's got plenty of time left for more too, what an outstanding fellow. |
Jaye (#2338) Lannisport Stables Posted On: 3/31/2023 05:23 AM |
I have quite a few racers that are favourites in my barn but I have chosen A Fool's Chase, he's really come into his own this year for me as I have been struggling with the new points system and having an older racing string. Being homebred and a stallion has me really excited that he's only 1 point away from PM, having earnt 33 of those points just this year. I am hoping with his pedigree that he will also be able to prove himself in the breeding shed once he retires. From Raienne's barn, even though they stated they haven't been very active, I went and found myself French Girl, a nice little steeplechase filly, now personally if i could make a living off of steeplechase ponies only, I would, and this filly whilst not that active this year has shown in the past the potential to race well and seeing her PR score this month that perhaps next year might be her year! She was obviously waiting to see the jumps with her potential soaring high after transitioning, I certainly hope she runs well for Raienne for the rest of her racing career. |

Choosing a racer was slightly more difficult than a yearling. Especially this year when I lost motivation for a couple weeks. All of my horses lost morale, condition, and experience along with others. But this isn't about my sob story. I'd say my favourite is Texas Lawn Dart. He was bought cheap, and I'll be honest; I don't have high expectations for him. But he came back from the loss in motivation the strongest. The cheap, FFH bred, originally a HT horse purchase came back stronger than the expensive, bought with a prayer, player bred horses I had bought from the YA. He's a 3yo, not the prettiest but a looker in my heart, with 12 starts and 27 points. If he were a stallion I'd start making plans on if I thought he could make enough to be a reasonable stallion or not. Unfortunately he's a gelding, but he'll make one incredible buddy when he does retire. I think the last time I got this excited about a pixel horse was One Penny.
While looking at Lannisport's horses, I was immediately drawn to The Hidden Rose. She's a beauty. I mean look at that colour. She's doing great in races, and she maxed moderately high. Her performance grade is G2, which is higher up than her potential grade (G3) That's something that's neat to see, compared to my horses who usually get down graded lol. She's got a lifetime best PR of 121, which seems pretty high if you ask me. Simply just another thing I personally don't see often. Overall this is a horse to die for, love her colour, her race history is great, and once fully maxed she'll be a monster on the track. |
Waylon (#1593) Fox Harbor Farms Posted On: 4/1/2023 09:02 AM |
Picking a favorite racer is sometimes super difficult, this time I know who it is even though his star has waned this year, Jinx Me. This boy was one of my first keepers from his sire, who I loved and adored. And while I wasn't sure what he'd do on the track for me he came out of the gate...well a little rough. Two DNFs in a row before he finally got his feet beneath him after that it was all a blur to the finish. He has accomplished more than I had asked of him and was ready to retire at the end of last year. This year he'll come off the track after WCFs and join his sire in the stallion barn where I hope he will continue his legacy.
Man, I love a good apple runner and there is none better than Ghost Bay Known. He's out here earning his keep one apple at a time, carefully collecting those apples for Channelcat one race at a time. Hopefully he can continue to be a strong apple earner for them and maybe even start stepping into the G3 pool in the future! |
Ceenbee (#577) Wild Blue Yonder Racing Posted On: 4/3/2023 09:14 PM |
I am honestly so proud of one of my homebred stock 3yos, Lime On The Glass. I didn't have high hopes for him as a yearling/2yo (hence the sort of derpy name) and he was even on the chopping block for going into the yearling auction, and then almost the training auction! Boy am I glad I held on to him, now that he's achieved two Midsummer wins, earned a performance merit before four, and is putting up just monster PRs for a freakin' three year old. It'll be fun seeing if he ends up peerless, at least as a gelding, and I'm hoping he'll be able to stretch to Court of Stars one day! Really goes to show you that some of your absolute best racers are the ones you least expect.
This is the most uncreative answer, but I had to go with Rosae Ferrum because, well, he's pink. It's a pink horse. And a colt, at that! He's been running some decent PRs this year and looks like he's just starting to figure out how his knees work haha. I also LOVE the birdcatcher and rabicano on him, it adds some visual interest that makes him even more stunning. My fingers are crossed for Waylon that he ends up maxing pretty high, his stat genes are average for a GB but his daddy is peerless, so here's hoping!!! |
Jay (#2167) Eagle Valley Stables Posted On: 4/5/2023 09:45 PM |
The horse I am most proud of this year is Never Let You Go. She's earned 105 points in 11 races so far, and won 8 of her races. She's earned 1.2million for the year, and 4.1million total. Most excitingly, she earned her PD this year, the latest of only a handful for my stable. Even more exciting, she's a homebred out of two homebreds. It's tempting to try to run her for CoS, but she just doesn't have the longevity to get there. I'm excited to see how her babies do on the track. Ceenbee's horses are all on fire, so it was hard to pick, so I picked one I bred that they're doing amazing with. Wizard Council has earned nearly 300 points in total, and 95 this year. He's won 28 races and $8million. He also won his Midsummer Maturity this year. I usually don't keep close tabs on many of the geldings I've breed, but this one has been doing so well, I've kept close track. |

Moon Of Odin is my golden girl this year! She has qualified for WCF and placed 2nd in the AGC juvenile fillies sprint. She sprinted to the top of my favorites list very quickly, and I'm so excited for her future. She has a yearling half sibling who I am also dying to see if she rivals my interest! She also has such a beautiful coat and it just my favorite overall. I am so ready to see how she does the end of this year but even more so I am so excited to see her 3yo year! Okay so I literally looked through everyone of Eagle Valley's horses and it took me a solid 30 minutes to decide on which one to write about. They are all FANTASTIC. But since I have to choose one I'm going with Timeworn Trophy. He is a project six colt who is KILLING it on the track. He already has 48 points and is just dominating. I easily see a PD in this guy's future! I am genuinely shocked at the fact he doesn't have a G1 win yet. As if that wasn't enough to make him a superstar, take a look at his genetics! I've already marked him as a horse I'm going to watch closely so here's to high hopes he'll get that PD and stand at stud! |
Epithet (#8051) Celtic International Posted On: 4/7/2023 05:57 PM |
Oh, this is too easy. Sixy Stache is my P6 entry for this year and my favorite horse to race so far. He's become a study in just how to make almost any horse successful, and has really helped me understand racing better than ever before! This year with him has been filled with excitement and revelations; he's been dueling for the top spot both overall and in Standardbreds since the start, currently sitting at 4th overall and 2nd in STBs, and I have high hopes for what he might be able to do after his Trials this month! Ultimately, even if he doesn't pull off the win in either category, he's only made me even more excited to try again in a couple years for the next round of P6s. He's taught me so much about how to really squeeze every last drop of racing potential out of any horse and I'm excited to use these lessons to improve my entire string. Moon Of Odin is a promising 2yo from smakie's barn! She's nice to look at too, which never hurts at all. An APpR of 7 is nothing to sneeze at, and that's with her having tack notes all over the place - imagine how great she'll do once she finally sorts out her wardrobe! She ran a very impressive 2nd place in her Gold Cup and I'm sure will be an absolute threat in the upcoming WCFs. I can't wait to see how she does, and I'm really curious to find out if she figures out her outfit by then and really knocks our socks off - wouldn't it be great to have a winner? |
