	It's time to party!

FFH's 10th anniversary is in just a few days so it's time to put your party hats on! Literally! In this contest your job is to design a party hat for horses to wear during the anniversary festivities. There are 3 different ways you can enter, each described below. You are allowed to submit just 1 entry using whichever method works best for you. Rules for Submissions 1. If submitting art, follow the instructions for the format chosen. 2. You may add or edit the provided template as needed - designs do not need to stay within the boundaries of the template. If you are adding something that extends beyond the edges of the fully shaded template, please attempt to shade it in a matching style. 3. All designs should be tasteful and adhere to FFH rules. Do not submit anything gory or vulgar. 4. More unique designs may be more likely to be chosen, but don't let that deter you from doing something fairly simple! Variety is nice! 5. To enter, reply to this post with either a link or text as appropriate. Entries must be submitted no later than 11:00pm on Friday, March 24th. 6. All image entries should be submit as PNG files. If you're doing the fully shaded version, it should be transparent showing only the hat. 7. All entries must include a name for the hat in the format "____ Party Hat". This can be anything you'd like, but creativity is encouraged! Look at the Invisible Ham collection (or other collections) for ideas. 8. You may optionally include an example (as short as one word) of how this hat might impact the wearer. This could be as simple as "joy" or "bravery" or "cozy"! Try to think outside the box a bit (not every hat needs to make the wearer excited) and even tie this into the name of the hat. ...You get where I'm going with this? All entries following the rules listed above will be entered into an anniversary raffle. All entries will also be given a random party hat when the celebration begins! Format 1: Fully Shaded Template

Is it the stars and the moon smiling in glee? I know how easy it is to worry or frown but at least the stars will never let you down. Just open your eyes and your heart to let in the celestial light and it might lend you some might. Let the stars be your guide, it won't give you a reason to hide. You will not be misled with this hat upon your head. It's time to celebrate, 10 whole years out of the gate! Well, it’ll have them wondering in awe at the resilience of the sea life around them, and the many ways it can recover from the effects of horrible conditions for it. If the coral looks a little pale, don’t worry too much about it! Probably just some artistic limitations at work and nothing more sinister. This particular hat, when donned, would allow a pony to have a little bit more resilience to unfavorable conditions in terms of pace (or maybe mud?) where an unfavored pace or track mud would affect them a little less negatively.

All Paint marking genes are now weighted by breed. Paint Horses have a higher chance of passing Paint markings to their foals, while all other breeds have a lower chance of passing Paint markings to their foals. This makes the classification of Paint markings Common for Paint Horses and Rare for all other breeds.

Prime has been broken and has not been declining at all for several game years. As a result, most horses have substantially more Prime than should be appropriate. (Ex: A 6yo who hit 100% Peak by the time they turned 4 should have lost 24+ Prime but has actually lost none.) Rather than setting all horses to what they should have, horses 5 and older will temporarily lose Prime twice as fast to accommodate.

A new Yearling Quick View has been added. It shows Morale, Maturity, Risk and indicates if a horse has Genetic Ratings purchased (as required for YA). Additionally, yearlings now show Forever Pro Traits in their Trait & Stat Panel so that you can more easily manage Risk.

Mare grade inspections have reopened. There is a now a fee for grade testing mares, as listed on the inspection page. Mares do not need to be tested to be eligible to breed. The only other adjustment to mare grading is the removal of surface from the grading formula.

A few minor adjustments have been made to Stallion Grades and stallions will need retested. Notably - Since SS/Import/Custom cannot be the worst level of 'Average', they may still earn B grades. Horses with tested negative mutations also cannot grade higher than C unless tested AA+ PQ. This info has been updated in the Handbook as well. Thanks for your patience!

The Stallion Grade system has been updated and testing is open again. These updates offer more flexibility in factors that have less impact on a foal's potential while placing more weight on factors that have a stronger impact on a foal's potential. The Handbook page has also been updated, though the most notable change is that tested Average PQ cannot grade higher than C.

Performance based Suggested Grade now only looks at a horse's most recent race. This should alleviate a lot of problems where horses show a lower grade than is actually appropriate, helping avoid Handily results.
